Overheard

Bimbette #1: So then I got a text from him this morning [shows friend text message]. I mean, who forgets if they have sex?
Bimbette #2: Haha... There's not even a 'hello' or punctuation... Just 'Did we have sex.'
Bimbette #1: I know!
Bimbette #2: Well, did you?
Bimbette #1: I'm not sure...

Please note that Yoran Bosman, the author of this software, prefers us to use the later, full install version because "2.4 had some serious memory leaks :) besides 2.52 is better looking".

TrayBar is a very handy, tiny, wee, programme that provides you with single click access to anything you want. It resides in your system tray down near your clock. TrayBar can replace my Frequent Folder

You use the Configuration window to add in shortcuts. I have added a shortcut to an excel file I use frequently, the programmes I use almost every day and I'm about to add some folders that I am forever navigating to.

TrayBar can be customised too. These are some of the customisations you can make. You can change the icon that is seen in the system tray, you can change whether the menu opens either by hovering, left clicking or right clicking on the tray icon, you can change whether it starts when Windows starts and you can also turn on the option for a shell context menu item for TrayBar. If you turn on this option you can then simply right click on any file, folder or programme and chose Add to TrayBar which will put that item in the TrayBar menu.

This is a fantastic little find. It is an old programme that hasn't been updated since 2004 but then why update something that already does all you want it to. Being so tiny and a no install just adds to the beauty of it.

**Thanks to Yoran Bosman for this wonderful freebie!!**

Update - Here is a screenshot of version 2.5 after I have been playing some more. All menu items seem to open extremely fast which is another bonus.
