Clickster is the essential application for every lover of music. Clickster enables you to easily search for and download mp3 files from the Internet in a totally legal and safe environment. Because Clickster sources mp3's which are hosted on web servers, you can expect download speeds which put P2P networks to shame. With currently over 30 million tracks available to download (and growing), we're certain Clickster will be able to locate the music you really want to listen to and there are no dead/broken links.

This programme is not for music lovers who want to download tons of music especially if it's more recent however I have managed to download quite a few songs. There is an annoying little nag screen that pops up every so often but considering it's free I won't complain. When I first started Clickster it often didn't find the music I was after but with time it seems to have improved. At this stage you don't get much detail about the files when Clickster finds them and it's a bit of pot luck as to which version you chose to download but it's worth it to me not to have a Peer 2 peer file sharing programme on my computer.

The thing I like most about clickster is it doesn't hog your pc or take over like some file sharing programmes do. It doesn't allow others access to your computer and it would be less likely that you would download a virus or other nasty than if you were to use a p2p file sharing programme. The interface is not so pretty but again, it's free and it works most of the time.

What else does Clickster do? Quite a bit it would seem. You can listen to and rip shoutcasts, MySpace music ripping, do RadioRipping, locate podcasts by genre and install it on a flash drive.
